At Speaking Out, we help those career-focussed individuals for whom even the thought of public speaking fills them with dread! We help boost their chances of employment and promotion through our 8-week public speaking course. For those with a more dramatic flare we also have classes to help build their performance skills.

Speak up and present

Our individually tailored 8-week program, provides you with a variety of opportunities to learn and practice your new public speaking skills in a supportive environment.

Cost: $90per session

Features (as required):

  • Both prepared and impromptu speeches

  • Integrating technology

  • Interview skills (both sides of the table)

  • Confidence building

  • Answering questions

  • 8 Weekly 45min sessions which allow you to implement new skills as you progress

BONUS:

  • 30min Introductory session: to determine your goals and to develop your tailored program value $50

  • 20min Review session: to assess if you have achieved your goals. Are you ready for the Speak Up and Inspire Course? value $45

Looking to explore your dramatic side? Our acting classes will allow you to learn various techniques for many types of performances.

Cost: $90per session

Features:

  • Getting into character

  • Reading aloud

  • Recitations

  • Performance opportunities (depending on date of enrolment)

  • 8 weekly 45min sessions

BONUS Join with a friend to enjoy:

  • 2 solo 30min lessons just for you (and your friend gets them too!) value $150

  • Explore the world of duologues and poems for two!

speak up and inspire

This course is for more advanced public speakers who wish to ‘prove’ their skills and obtain a Certificate of Communication to add to their resume. Perfect for those who are looking to spruce up their CV.

Cost: $125per session

Features (The same as Speak Up and Present) plus:

  • Tailored program for the ASCA exam

  • Leading discussions

  • Presenting a program of events to a small audience

  • Successful students will obtain Certificate of Communication ASCA

  • 8 weekly 45min sessions

BONUS:

  • Exam cost covered value $255

  • 1hr bonus session close to exam time value $90
